Birth Certificate Woes

Featured Replies

I have a unique problem. I was born in Thailand. Father was US military. Mother is Thai. They moved back to the states while I was an infant and divorced when I was 7. I don't have a copy of my birth certificate, consular report of birth, and I lost my original passport a LOOOONG time ago (I'm over 30 now.) My mom can't remember the name of the base hospital I was born on. I don't know how to go about retrieving the information I need, which is my birth certificate or consular birth record. I'm at a loss because I don't know where my father is, so he can't help. Just really frustrated. If anyone knows where I should start, please let me know.

you were born in TH , and you wanna find Birth Certification , well where are you now?

IMHO i think you can start from "Tessabal" ( city hall or the local government office ) in TH where you born (ask your mom, about the city ,province)

Good Luck

Bambi :o

was it an American base you were born at ?,

do you have your fathers SS number or military number ?

I assume your father was around the first few years since you ended up in the USA,

I would think his military records would have your place of birth....

just a thought

good luck
