Golf In Pattaya

Featured Replies

I have a small business in Pattaya and will move to live there soon, don't really like Pattaya but it is necessary to be near the business, can anyone suggest a reasonably priced golf course in Pattaya or near there, looked on the internet and only found expensive places, thanks.

Your best bet is to take a walk on Soi 7 or 8 (I forget which), and look to play out of one of the bars. Prices vary depending on the course, and I haven't been there for awhile, but it's a good deal. Just prepare for a 10 to 6 day. The riding in the Minibus can start to get on your nerves. Especially with the traffic.

Otherwise, look to play late, and see if the courses drop their prices after 3.

To play or be a member?

Plutaluang near Sattahip and Emerald in Ban Chang are the cheapest.

Noble Place and Treasure Hill (both of whose names have changed but I don't remember the new ones) are also cheap but a way out of town.

Eastern Star in Ban Chang is reasonable, and Pattaya Country Club.

All the others have sports days when a round will cost 700 Baht, or will have some other type of deals.

Join the Pattaya Sports Club and most (all?) the courses give you discounts.

You can get yearly memberships for some courses if you are going to play regularly but don't want a full membership of 1 course and use PSC / Sports Days for other courses.

Edit: A lot of bars have weekly competitions, look in the Pattaya Mail for the schedules.
