What's your nationality?

If using married support Thai wife there should not be any need for pension verification although you could use such a letter as your income source information and believe immigration would be happy with that.

If you are using retirement extension they may want you to go through the normal embassy verification process but I would ask directly to be sure.

I am on retirement pay as well :o

What immigration makes me produce is a letter from the paying agency certified true copy, notarized or sworn statement from your embassy. And a letter of deposits and balance from your bank. You must have a minimum of 100k in the bank, and that is to change to 400k for me in March 06. I am not sure when it comes into effect for all married/retirement visas.

Immigration confirmed that a simple letter is enough when married to a Thai and working for many years in Thailand.
