I imagine HK is cheaper, its not quite as far.

I've flown EVA back and forth Van-BKK and I like them a lot.

EVA will stop in Taipei though.

EVA prices are quite good and they have deals.

I recommend paying about C$175 extra for Evergreen Deluxe class, its got wider seats with more leg room than econ, similar to biz class but much cheaper.

I usually fly with Cathay Pacific.... have found it to be the best value / price BKK-YVR-BKK. Flying from BKK involves a stop / change plane in Hong Kong, so I imagine the price would be cheaper if your trip originates there.

If you are a real Khee Neeow, you could check out Phillipine Airlines... understand they are cheap also, but would stop in Manila.
