Six of 44 legislators disqualified

The Constitution Court on Wednesday ruled to disqualified six MPs for violating the equity rule.

A total of 44 MPs and senators faced the judicial inquiry on charges related to possessing shares in ventures linked to state concessions.

The high court acquitted the 38 accused.

The six disqualified from House seats include Somkietr Xanthavanij from Democrat Party, Maliwan Tanyasakulkit from Puea Pandin Party, Boonjong Wongtrairat from Bhum Jai Thai Party.

The other three are Kuerkul Danchaivichit from Chart Thai Pattana Party,Preechaphol Pongpanit from Pheu Thai Party and MR Kittiwattana Jayan from Puea Pandin Party.
