Once again, dealing with Visa's has me a bit unsure. Please tell me if I have this correct. I have a one year, multiple entry Non-Imm B Visa. I do not have a work permit yet. I will need to leave the country on my 90 days. Upon my return, I will receive another 90 day stamp. I do not need to visit immigration (aside from the one in the airport), I just need to simply leave and come back.

Do I have this straight? My 90 days is coming up next week and this seems to easy to be true. Just leave and come back?!?! Am I missing some vital piece of the puzzle? Thanks for your time!

You are correct, leave the country and enter another country and you can come back to Thailand the same day and will get a new permission to stay for 90 days provided your visa is still valid. That you don't have a work permit is not important, it only means that you won't get an extension of stay.

By leaving and re-entering Thailand just before the visa itself expires you will get another 90 days and so can get almost 15 months out of the visa.

What great news! It just seemed to me that as complicated as some things are here, my visa run couldn't be so easy. Glad I was wrong. Thanks again for all your help!!

One point, if you're using a land border you must enter the other country, you can't just leave Thailand, wander around in no-mans-land and come back. Thai immigration will be looking for your exit stamp.

"I don't want to know why you can't. I want to know how you can!"
