Dr.Thun Of Bph

Featured Replies

We will be back in Patts in a week & a half & my wife was going to see Dr.Thun at BPH for a minor eyelid surgery as she & I have met him & last Month we were told he was on a months leave . Now as we are about to arrive they now tell us he is on another Months sick leave>> That is a lot of "sick" for a healthy Doctor.

The Hospital is very secretive & I was wondering if anyone knows what is happening.

We really like him as a person as well & my wife is a little concerned for his health.

Thanks for any info. & please no comedic drivel.

If you google on Thun Nasongkhla, M.D. you'll find out that he is pretty famous and therefore possibily pretty occupied.

He might have been so busy and stressed out, that he's enjoying a sabatical.

On the other hand, even doctors can get sick.

Tip for this country: Don't get attached to doctors, government-officers (incl. police and immigration), shop owners, restaurant waiters and all the other nice people here. Thailand is the inventor of "job-rotation".

Sadly, on a visit to BPH this morning we found that Dr.Thun passed away in Bangkok on the 11th.

My wife broke down , he is regarded by us as the epitomy of a Caring , Gentlemanly ,Professional.

Pattaya & Thailand have lost a Great Man. Our best to his wife & family
