CNBC saying a Qantas A380 Singapore to Australia QF32 flight returning to Singapore with engine trouble... CNBC now saying (10:35am) loud bang in air was reportedly mis-reported as a crash.

yeah i started a thread in General topics, seems it was an emergency landing although debris was found at Batam

Quantas states the plane, an Airbus 380, is returning to Singapore

from Sky news live report

Conflicting reports. QANTAS says QF32 has landed in Singapore after dumping fuel. Indonesian reports say distinctive red and white debris found on island.

ninemsn quoting QANTAS is also reporting the flight has landed safely in Singapore after the crew turned one of the engines off.

A pilot with the Pope in the pocket

What does the Pope have to do with it ??

do not give credit where credit not due.

How soon before the cover-up begins and Airbus blames the engine explosion on the volcanic eruption in Indonesia. It couldn't possibly be an aircraft defect, could it? Hard to blame maintenance as the plane shouldn't have had too much mileage on it.
