Where Can I Rewire Headphones

Featured Replies

I have a perfectly good set of Sennheiser headphones, apart that is, from the cord which has deteriorated as all plastic/rubber things do in Thailand's humid climate. My IT guy says I can get them rewired at Fortune, but hasn't been to specific as to exactly where. Has anyone done this?

One suggesting on IT City.

On the floor above all the movie sellers. (I believe they are on 4)

When you get off the escalator, walk towards Sukhumvit. LOL ... sorry,

that's my best direction. As you walk past all the movie "huskters," keep walking until you get to a yellow signed, large store on your right. You will see a long repair counter, again on the right, before you can enter the store.

They seem to fix everything. The store is also interesting as they sell the

strangest variety of products you might find in one place. Most with brand names you have never heard of. :D

Please let me know if you are successful in having those repaired and where. I have a pair I bought for about 4000 baht and 1 month later snagged them on something and ripped the cord out of the ear bud. After reassembly, they would only work intermittently and any movement at the plug would silence them. I would hate to think I threw the 4000 baht away on something other than beer or women!

The repair place at Fortune IT is called AMORN. They fix just about anything with wires and plugs, usually at a very reasonable price. It's on the fourth floor. Good luck!
