November 11, 201015 yr I want to provide my hotel customers with a 'freephone' number (in Thailand), so that they can call the hotel when they arrive at Phuket Airport, without the need to have a topped-up Thai SIM card. I'm sure freephone numbers of this type exist in Thailand, but ToT isn't playing ball with me right now and appear unsure how to proceed. Can anyone help? I assume there are 'standard' freephone numbers and then (more expensive) 'short' freephone numbers, such as the 1xxx type used by PizzaHut etc. Thanks Simon
November 12, 201015 yr Author George, thanks but that's not what I am after. I'm looking for a domestic, Thai Freefone number, not an international one. Customers outside of Thailand will typically send email enquiries. I want to provide a freefone number within Thailand, such as the short 4-digit numbers used by restaurants, or possibly a longer number, but one which can be called free-of-charge when one is in Thailand. November 12, 201015 yr If they arrive at Phuket airport With no credit on their sim cards arent they only allowed to make emergency calls ??
November 12, 201015 yr If they are your customers then surely you are expecting them on the day of arrival and would be there at the airport to meet them ? That way they wont need to phone you as you or your employee will be there with a name board ? I also offer customers a blackberry for their stay with a pre paid sim card as well with some pre programmed numbers stored on the phone.

Actually no - this is the airport hotel, so many people just walk in without bookings. I have advertisements within the airport itself and a freefone number would assist potential customers to contact me, (also, airport staff, security personal etc often help tourists who arrive in the middle of the night and I cannot always rely on their generosity to use their own mobile phones) Simon
November 12, 201015 yr TOT Free Phone . TRUE may offer the same. Maybe talk with a local telecomms system provider?
November 17, 201015 yr My link was for a Thai freephone number. Just choose Thailand as country and u can choose your number and get it right way, but it's not cheap.
