Just found it a bit of a coincidence as he had recently ran a controversial article that involved big money and now the website is down.

Andrew Drummond does not have a great reputation in Thailand as anything other than a stringer. He went through a court process some years ago regarding defamation but not sure what the outcome was. So understandably he may well have trodden on someone's toes and now the Thai Police have stepped in as this could be a case of repeat offender and they will be none too kind this time around.

Hmmm...the plot thickens since Drummond posted there for the last time, Nov. 13th, and was online yesterday (14th); however, it seems that a certain DD there and AD aren't exactly friends but I don't think DD had a hand in bringing down AD's website.

The website is accessible without difficulty.

Not sure that the article he wrote about the Porn King in Pattaya could be classified as "recent" as it was done last August.

Almost everything Mr. Drummond writes could be considered controversial as he's good at writing an expose' on a variety of topics and the one above was just another good one.

This is Pattaya, where the word "respectable" is being redefined everyday, just like "luxury" now means a 30sqm hole near Walking Street.

the article he recently posted was about a drug and alcohol rehab centre.

not sure if it was the guy who owns the place or just an employee, but he was caught on camera smoking crystal meth

as soon as the article was up, the rehab centres website changed from offering drug and alcohol treatment to just alcohol. then when ADs website went down, they went back to offering drug and alcohol treatment

think the article said it was $30000 per week for the treatment.
