First, if you want to see the BEST "Drag/Female Impersonators/Cabaret" show in BKK, you must go to Freeman Dance Center in Silom Rd / Soi 2 next to Noodi Noodle. One show at 12.00midnight A Different show EVERY night. And it's not just my opinion... lots of others feel the same.. you can find Web stuff on it.

The first time I went there in 2003 I saw someone "DO" Eartha Kitt - It was amazing..! (Especially as the performer doesn't speak English.. but she lip-synched it perfectly!) and ... you NEVER see anyone doing Eartha Kitt in the USA...!

Ok I have to admit a small "interest" here.... I also discovered my current bf there too... as a male-dancer in the show. He made my jaw drop watching him... soooo...

He's also still in it... but now doing Drag. !!

However, as this is a news item too... the club has just been sold to new Owners (the BBB Group) who plan to renovate the whole place (8 mil Baht worth...)

New stage, new bar, still will do cabaret and live perfs, etc etc.

It IS Sanook...!!

Show is usually 6 numbers.. lavish costumes for such a small stage... last about 45 mins. 100 Baht Cover includes 1 drink (Btw there are NO GG Boys.)

Auntie DAY is the Comedy Spot (in Thai).. and she also does a Chat to the Audience at the end of the show.. the Thai audience LOVE it.

Many people come from Taiwan, Singapore etc etc....

The new owners want to pull biz from DJ Station and keep punters there dancing.....

I say GOOD LUCK! We'll see if they can change ingrained Thai habits.
