November 24, 201015 yr Hi there, I plan to start a trading(export) business with a small investment, selling Thai goods overseas in partnership with one of my friends. My friend is already doing a business in Thailand since last 10 yrs. The issue is that I am in a good job and I can't do any business under my name as it'd be illegal. So I need to know: - Can I put my wife (dependent family) as one the partners in this business? - Any recommended agents (fair and reasonable) to register this partnership business? I guess it needs business registration and a trading license. - Can it be done from home to avoid/minimize initial operating cost? Does it requires a separate office? - Above all,is there any place to understand the core business process of trading/exporting? (covering issues like logistic, custom clearance, payments, tax and other required documents etc.) Thanks in advance for the concern and help. regards
November 25, 201015 yr Author Got reply on all of my question from a widely known company in Bangkok. This Co. is providing free business consultation and if we go ahead, would charge around 40,000 THB for the whole work. (Work permit, govt. registration etc. etc.) Does this sounds reasonable? I am sure there are more such agent companies into this type of task. Any leads or opinions?
