90 Day Reportng

Featured Replies

i do my 90 day reporting where we ilve in Isaan. we want to go to Bangkok for 4 weeks but this falls during my 90 day reporting. can i report to bangkok office...........thanks

No. But you have a window of 7 days before and 7 days after to report. In addition almost all immigration offices allow you to do your 90 day reporting by mail.

has to rank as one of the most annoying regulations on the books.

Thanks for useful info, Mario, but...

What's the drill if you have two properties in different chungwats or if you change address?

Wouldn't you think that the Thai Immigration would make up a set of guide lines to be strictly adhered to by applicants and the Immigration officers. Im about to make my eighth visa extension and its got to the stage where I copy every document which maybe relevant and let the officer take what he/she wants. Everytime I make a visa extension there always seems to be something extra they want, so I just play the game and keep my cool. Uniformity would not only be beneficial to the applicants but may even make the officers happy in their job, resulting in greater productivity.

Sorry " mario " like you say the best easiest way is by Thailand post office mail but he can do his 90 day in Bangkok if he wanted to.:)

Leave alone stubborn requests for extra documents from abroad which cost you as little as 10.000 Baht, just to be told as soon as you have it that they don't want it anymore and you cannot have what they previously agreed...how lovely and professional are those immigration captains working in Bangkok...it seems they gave her 3 stars just because she was able to understand of what i was talking about (their laws) while her subordinates didn't had a clue

Bangkok no longer accepts reports from other office extensions of stay from recent reports here - you make reports to the office you extended at.

Nothing to do with 90 day report but on another forum I pointed out exactly the same thing you are posting and got " my friend has had no problems" maybe they like the once a year pouncing about because they have nothing else better to do but I don't 6 years and every year they want something more.

Even after we telephoned a couple of days before going and asked what had changed from last year they told us one thing by the time we got there they wanted something else, and l have stated before that my wife didn't get all the crap that I get in Thailand when she stayed in England.:annoyed:
