I've actually heard from above that soon no members will have profiles or avatars anymore, so nobody can see what posts you have made or where you are from.

Google adwords will be replacing member profiles and avatars as it is prime advertising space.

Still, at least we get to keep our names there.

Not true. We are just beta testing a new type of contextual ads in the bedlam forum. Nothing serious.

Nope, its not true, at all. I just made my post to wind up Totty, the avatar king.

I 'get' that, maybe other TV'rs do as well? I click on an ad everytime I'm onsite since I recognise this is what makes the site possible

Ok, ok, I'm also a self confessed Advert junkie and just can't help myself

Might be helpfull if the ads opened up in a separate window tho?

Click thru's and net yields, two different animals,

Someone has to pay for server space and fat connectivity,

A minor comfort, I check out quite a few banners and other, I consider them quality resources for no other reason then them being filtered by TV,

Still, at least we get to keep our names there.

No way, we should get rid of all those posts too. More room for google ads
