Hi,

I am returning to Australia in march for good, by which time i will have paid 3 months worth of tax in the new tax year.

Does anyone know if I can claim it back?

If yes, whats the procedure

I received a tax rebate automatically in the post so I would guess that it is possible to claim back when you are leaving the country for good.

maybe you should ask the accounts department at your company.

Is that using the 180 days rule?
