The TG web site keeps saying my "profile" isn't up to date, but I don't know whats wrong with it when I try to redeem my frequent flier miles on line.

Anyway assuming I don't have TG web site profile, how do I go about redeeming miles to use for hotel room booking? Do I need to get some sort of voucher from TG? Can it be done by internet or need a trip to their office?

Thanks for any ideas guys.

No, what's that got to do with it? I just see from TG web site that I have nearly 10,000 miles expiring at end of yr and I could use them on any of the hotels listed, but the web site doesn't seem to show how to redeem the hotel voucher?

It seems like the only way to redeem hotel awards is to do it on-line. Therefore you've got to sort out access to your account directly with TG/RoP. Or can you manage your account (successfully log-in) but cannot see where to redeem hotel awards? Maybe you should contact them? How to Redeem & Terms and Conditions

How to redeem

All Hotel Awards can be conveniently redeemed online. Log on using your membership number and PIN and go to Request an Award.

Hotel Awards can be redeemed for member’s use, or for an Award Nominee.

As Hotel Awards are delivered in the form of a Certificate, please ensure the address in your profile is correct. Allow up to 4 weeks for Certificate delivery by post. If the Award is redeemed for an Award Nominee, the Certificate will be delivered to the requesting member’s postal address.

Award stays can be for 1,2 or 3 consecutive nights. Be sure to request the correct level that corresponds with your preferred hotel. This is very important when redeeming an Award in the International Collection. If the Certificate is not correct, the hotel will not accept your Award as payment.

Using the contact information provided at Related Links, contact the partner or hotel by email or telephone. Request your preferred dates stating clearly that your stay will be paid with a Royal Orchid Plus Hotel Award.

Award stays are subject to availability and participating hotels reserve the right to impose black-out periods. The hotel may also require a copy of your Certificate to be sent by email or fax.

At check-in the Certificate will be accepted as payment. However, the Certificate holder is responsible for all applicable taxes, service charges and other expenses incurred during the stay.

Terms and Conditions

Participating hotels may opt-out of the Hotel Award program without prior notice. THAI accepts no responsibility if a hotel no longer participates in the Hotel Award program.

Original Certificates only are accepted at check-in, and a correct and valid Certificate must be presented for payment.

Hotel Award Certificates are valid for 1 year from the date of issue and the Award stay must be completed within the stated validity period.

Any changes to valid issued Award Certificates require the Certificate to be returned to Royal Orchid Plus. The Award is then re-credited, less any expiring miles, subject to payment of a service fee.

Lost or stolen Certificates cannot be replaced under any circumstance.

Royal Orchid Plus is not responsible in the event of Certificate postal delivery failure.

Min. award is HS1 12,000 miles

Thanks for feedback. Seems like I need to talk to TG about my account online that has some profile error that won't correct itself. I can logon to account but cannot redeem awards due to "Your address has been suppressed" & "Profile Not Complete" message, though I cannot see anything wrong with the profile.

I can confirm the site is working today, I used 30k miles to book 2 returns to krabi, I was due to lose 20 k the end of this year.

The hotel vouchers can be sent to your house or you can choose to collect them from Thai on Viphawadi road from memory.

I went to TG office in Vibhavadi Rangsit Road. They sorted out the hotel voucher and deducted the miles, but takes a week to authorize it.

I looked at my account on their primitive looking computer screen (looks like some old DOS interface) and my problem was I typed in a mailing address that their system didn't like and had SUPPRESSED my account for last 3 years! They typed in another address that would be better, and now at home I still see the same original SUPPRESSED account. I will try again with another visit when I have to go back and pick up vouchers, but overall I think I am not impressed in this day and age.
