Maxnet

Featured Replies

I just ordered Maxnet - and only just now saw the smallprint....does not support VOIP....does this mean i won't be able to use Skype?

Is anyone else using maxnet and skype?

Cheers, Khun Lob

Officially they don't support voip, nor P2P.

However it seems more that they don't guarantee these protocols rather then actually blocking them.

You might get lucky, or you might not :D .

Welcome to Thailand :o

There are a very few on this forum who have great service from their Maxnet packages, however the majority seems te receive very poor service/quality/speed, hardly ever outperforming dial-up, and very often being much worse then dial-up :D

Browse this tread to get an idea of how most people feel about Maxnet

Anyway, at the price for the Maxnet4home (790/month) the advice would be to see what you get, and only if it's not satisfactory you would start to consider upgrading to a more expensive package...

Our member KID seems to be getting great service for his 790 Baht, I'm starting to suspect him from having some special "relationship" with one of the TT&T girls at Carrefour :D:D:D:D

Can't blame him, as there is at least one of them who I wouldn't mind dating :D

Might be hard to explain my GF it would just be in the interest of decent adsl though :D

I have maxnet (790 thb) - works fine with Skype.. :o
