Cat Cdma (Via Novatel Stick) Never Been As Terrible As It Is Today

Hello, I'am also in the East of Chiang (about Doi Saket). I use CAT CDMA as I have yet no other choice.

My antenna is directed to the Doi Saket Hospital CAT Antenna. I use Internet in connection with France servers.

The connection is always very slow since many months now.

But better in morning and day time than in the evening when I have almost all time non more than 10 to 15 KB/s and sometimes below 5 KB/s (so less than 40 kbps, less than an old time modem).

But I don't know what to do (I have some of the best equipments at home). I just pray 3BBB will pass one day on the main road, between Doi Saket and Bo Sang, and that their connexion point will not be too far.

How funny that in a relatively large country as Thailand we seem to share the same CAT antenna next to Doi Saket Hospital.

'pointed at' you mean you use their 2,500 baht external antenna ? I plan to get one, but usually the signal is just OK although those funny, tragic download speeds. However today and still now after midnight it's far worse. Various websites I can't open at all they just keep loading.

If Tuesday no change I'm afraid I'll have to go all the way to the office because I can't do my things now, so they really have to come with a solution.

One of the websites that do not open at all is http://weblog.fok.nl while in the US of A it can be opened normally but here no way.

I remember from the last time it was bad, some websites could not open same now. It improved after I downloaded a new driver (from this website) (bit unclear but the middle part is a scroll box with all the drivers) I see there's a 'new' notification next to the Novatel stick.

No did not improve anything, the 'new' notification dates from 6 months ago (we know the poor quality & maintanance of most websites here, so I'm not suprised)

However, I discovered that I can open the mentioned newswebsite fok.nl normally via my VPN account, but not via CAT's own ISP. Very, very strange.
