Greetings Trend Setters

I'm just throwing this out there so feel free to put in your two bob's worth.

I know the "fish" post was originally raised by kandahar, so maybe this

can go there, or we may need a new section, if it gets going.

I guess it's a continuation from the Dexter post.

I'm one of those who doesn't really burn many dvd's. I get my new

releases from town, my box sets from Mae Sai and the harder

to get stuff from Amazon.

Once they have been watched, probably 90% are just put in a draw

while the other 10% are sent to friends in Australia. I rarely watch them twice.

So, what I was thinking, is that people could ask if anyone has what they're

looking for, or could post what they have. They could then either trade or just

give them away. Maybe people could take them to Pot Luck.

For example, I have series 3 and 4 of Dexter. I won't be watching them again

so someone who either has series 1 & 2, or is going to get them might want

them. If they have a dvd I want to trade, all well and good. But if not, they're

welcome to them anyway as I don't need them.

I just think it's a shame to let them just sit in a draw when some people may

get some enjoyment out of them.

What do you think people?

Regards

Will

Worth pursuing :jap: The Expats group also does a one to one trade but other venues might be good as well.

Excellent idea I too have boxes of them hanging around and whilst I can enjoy most of them more than once, I am happy to share them also.

For those NOT in the know, Rico's Bar has a fine selection of books donated by Expats. The rule is , just return what you have read, there are no charges. He also has a DVD collection , it has been in place ages , so maybe you can add to the collection , same as the Library , no charge, just return for others to use.

At least you know now. IF I can be further assistance , just yell at me :D

There is a music section coming soon .
