MOSCOW, RUSSIA (BNO NEWS) -- Moscow's downtown Kievsky Rail Terminal was briefly evacuated on Wednesday due to a hoax bomb threat, local authorities said on Thursday.

Bomb experts with sniffer dogs arrived to examine the building after an anonymous call reported that a bomb had been planted inside the station, prompting an evacuation.

"The anonymous [bomb] reports have not been confirmed. The train station now operates in the normal mode," a police spokesman told RIA Novosti, which also reported that on Tuesday, around 15 hoax bomb threats had been reported in the Russian capital of Moscow.
