I implore everybody who likes a drink or three to view this clip. It is totally relevant at this festive season. It is especially important that those who, in their stupidity, think that laws and the application of perceived common sense do not apply to them view this.

It is too much to hope that the Pattaya City authorities will show this on their otherwise pointless video screen at he top of Walking Street?

Pretty scary and it certainly focuses the mind, as the add says their have been improvements in the anti social attitude of drinking and driving, but there is still a long way to go, do people remember the old saying "have one for the road"?

Whilst I understand where you are coming from in suggesting that ads like this could be shown on the Walking Street screens, but surely the ads need to be targeted. I think the people on Walking Street have already made the decision not to drink and drive though by drinking a fair bit their judgement might be clouded when picking a Baht Bus for their journey home, where the driver might possibly be drunk.

Stay safe out there this festive season.

Very moving, very dramatic and very sobering. I have posted this anti-drink/drive campaign on facebook for all to see.

Quote " Very moving, very dramatic and very sobering ". yes indeed.

Drink and driving and smoking, then drink driving smoking drugs, now drink driving, smoking drugs, mobile phones, the song " When will they ever learn " comes to mind.

Brings back memories, my brother Alex was a keen cyclist at 15 yrs old when he was hit and killed by a car from behind that was doing 85mph, the driver was drunk.

Back then he got 6 months ban from driving and a £200 fine, I lost the mother I knew that day too, she was never the same, I was lucky I had a great Dad.

good video, people don't think when intoxicated so it is important to have the means to get back sorted before you go out.

Thanks Bagwan, It is very relevant to the season. Great if that's the right word, video. I'll send it to my sons. Best wishes for Christmas.

this should be aimed solely at the Thais and it isnt. and even then 90% will just shrug and say it was their time to go.

Solely? Are you saying the only drunks on the roads are Thais?

This one is in the montage above but should probably be viewed on it's own....
