New Year'S Eve Fireworks

Featured Replies

We're thinking of going to one of those restaurants on Walking Street that has a terrace on the water, facing Bali Hai pier. Can we see the New Year's eve fireworks there? Is that where the city has their fireworks this year? Any experiences in those restaurants? Thanks!

Yes I have watched them from the upper terrace at the Lobster Pot which was an amazing position. Cannot get better entertainment whilst enjoying after dinner drinks!

Last year we thought we'd go to the beer bar (behind all the girlie bars at the entrance to Walking Street, used to be Serene Bar), trouble was that thousands of other people had the same idea and thjs was at 8.30pm. This year we're going to sit on Pattaya Beach hopefully avoiding the dangers of the odd misfired firework and thieving katoey.
