Recommendations For Bangkok To Siem Reap

Featured Replies

Hi,

My parents are visiting me in Thailand next February. We intend to go with them for a few days in Cambodia to visit Angkor Wat.

Bangkok Airways flight prices really feel like a rip-off and we're thinking about travelling there by road.

So far, hiring a minivan or a taxi seems a good option.

As I understand, it will actually be 2 vehicles, on for Thailand and one for Cambodia with a switch at the border.

Anyone has a reliable company/travel agency to recommend?

Thanks in advance

just take a taxi to the border at Poi Pet, and take a taxi on the other side..... easy.... Don`t take either of the two Cambodia policeman who run taxis, they race each other and its pretty hairy.... but good fun if you have extra underwear..!!

You can also get a bus from Mo Chit Station to Poipet (book seats in advance), then take the taxi to SR . (can actually take the casino bus fron Lumpini, but probs not the best option with your parents).
