Why do I get this notification now? I have posted in "pinned" topics in the past

Some pinned topics are locked and members can not reply to and some are open. The below shows the locked symbol of a pinned topic and can not be replied to.

Thanks for your reply. My next question therefore has to be why is the Pinned Topic "Applying For 1 & 5 year Thai Driving Licences" in the 'Thailand Motor Forum' locked?

There are members asking questions and I am unable to reply to their queries.

It's not clear why it was locked other then perhaps it has grown so much. I've unlocked it now as I have seen reports of changes recently. Perhaps a mod may start a new pinned topic moving the last pertinent rules to it and removing this nearly 6 year old one.
