Hello everyone.

Does anyone know where I can buy pasteurized "Sour Cream." At home, I use Sour Cream with Pierogies (potato, sauerkraut, etc.). Easy to make the pierogies, but cannot find Sour Cream, a favorite of Polish, Ukrainians, and Russians.

I live in the Pattaya area. What supermarkets carry it? Is it known by another name in Thai?

Seems like Thai cream is not the same as the sour cream found in America or other countries.

Thanks. :o

You can also make your own, buy the box of uht whipping cream, add lime juice (a fair amount or it doesn't come out sour) and beat with an electric beater until it sets as firm as you need. It's easy and then you can also make as much or as little as you need.

The only sourcream I've seen here is "Formost". It looks like regular yoghurt but placed near whipping creams, together with Formost Cottage Cheese. Foodland is a sure place to find it.
