Vpn Dd-Wrt, Bkk Through To Sf For Use With Apple 1Stgen And Which Router

Anyone have experience here in Bkk with connecting VPN to a non fixed IP? I was told by True that they do not support but would need to have a fixed Ip, and my Condo does not have

access to getting one. This Condo only can get NF accounts.

For a Fixed IP account for VPN, should I go to another ISP like TOT for the same 599 for 6 mb? Strong VPN is hard to communicate with they seem very busy the techs and

they handle seven or more calls on Chat at a time and use a system to get into the computer to try and fix.

They say I need a different router for DD-Wrt which makes my iphone 4, and Macmini and Netbook Win 7 and Apple TV 1st gen. able to function at the same time instead of one at a time and as of now I cannot connect ATV1.They don't have time to talk about this DD WRT or fixed IP or anything and I can understand they are busy so I am doing online research. At least now I do get Netflix and Hulu, have not tried Huluplus or any of the other devices or sights yet, so any feedback or advice would be appreciated, but please try to be as non tech as possible.

I contacted Sabai for a router, they don't have live chat, but they responded that one of their StrongvPn compatible routers would be able to connect to the Lan of the True Zyxel 4 port to make it work with Netflix and Atv and iphone and Mac and Netbook at once.

Since I am new to this technology I ask anyone with experience here in Bkk with True and connecting with VPN to SF, what router did you buy if any?

Did you have to have a fixed IP as Trueonline says I need ? Did you go to another ISP and have you had any disconnect problems? Do you have Netflix and Hulu and any other movie and TV channels working on a Mac, Iphone and Apple tv 1st Gen.

Any info and help in this matter would be appreciated.

As of the second day with VPN, i had to change the SF location twice, and it took awhile to get the Iphone4 connected and Mac mini, the VPn disconnects often today, but the last few hours, no problems.

Thanks in advance.

Works as expected. I have a Linksys router from Sabai.

You do not need a fixed IP. OPEN VPN will give faster throughput than PPTP and when have time will be changing to PPTP. L2TP is very quick but there is not a router that supports it well with strongvpn.
