Hi,

The title says it all. I'm looking for a periodontist (gum doctor) in Samui. I just had a good check-up in Bangkok, and the dentist there said that the first thing I need to do is get a good deep cleaning which should be performed by a Periodontist - not just any dentist.

Having lived in Samui, I have my doubts that a specialist is available here, However, if anyone knows of one, please let me know who he or she is, and how to contact them.

I've been thinking about some dental work and found (via good old google) samuidentalclinic

Their web site says they do periodontal work.

I have no idea who/what/when/where/how much etc. I haven't yet plucked up the courage to call them.

I found the same one. Their periodontist comes in for 2 days per month. I could do it in 2 days - just more painful.
