mstribling
My experience with the consulate in KL was excellent. Day 1: I waited for 20 minutes, from start to finish. No questions were asked. My documents were only glanced at. Day 2: Had 30 people in front of me. Nobody seemed to have any problems. It took about 10 minutes for me to get my passport back. Inside was a Multi-entry, Non-Imm "O" visa. My application included: Application downloaded and typed. 2x visa photo US Passport Copy of marriage certificate Copy of wife's ID Copy of House book My US bank statement showing over 100,00 Baht in checking. Easy process. No complaints at all with the service at KL.

seefah
Thanks for the report. What is the web site address for downloading the form? I tried a link from Google that seemed correct, but it wouldn't load. Haven't found a link on ThaiVisa site either.
Phatcharanan
You will be handed a visa app form at the security gate in any event. Take a pen with you and fill it in whilst waiting for the visa section doors to open. You have plenty of time.
Maestro
Thanks for the report. What is the web site address for downloading the form? I tried a link from Google that seemed correct, but it wouldn't load. Haven't found a link on ThaiVisa site either. The embassy in Kuala Lumpur doesn't seem to have its own website on which it could make the form available for download. In May 2008 I saved the attached form on my computer but I suggest you do not use it, just look at it for your information. It was on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs but the link to the page from where I downloaded it no longer works. The form may well have changed since then and at any rate they probably only accept the original form handed out at the embassy. Somtamnication
From what I remember, the KL embassy uses a very thin, almost rice paper like form. It has to be their form, period.
