I've been an addict of the London Daily Telegraph cryptic crossword for many years. and have recently started to tackle The Times, with only middling success so far. Is there a forum member with similar interests who would enjoy metaphorically knocking heads together occasionally especially about The Times.

Two heads are always better than one ..............PM me..............have always enjoyed crosswords...................used to do the Independent when I was a service engineer in the UK ( many years ago!!!), and always found the Thursday compiler to be almost impossible!!!!

I am a dedicated cryptic fan but I have never quite been able to do them with someone else. Mainly I think because it takes so much brain racking over a long time. I think they are for doing over a matter of days.

Your idea is good though because sometimes you get stuck on one train of thought and can't look at it laterally enough. I would join you but do not have messenger at home. I do at work though.
