My husband (British) & I (Thai) have lived in Sri Lanka on residence visa. We plan to go to UK to visit his family.

I'm quite certain that I should apply for Family Visit Visa according to UK Border Agency.

I'll be very grateful if anyone can just confirm this is the correct form.

Yes the best visa to apply for is for a family visit, the requirements are the same as a generic tourist visa but it carries the right of appeal.
