tw25rw Posted January 24, 2011 Share Posted January 24, 2011 UK customs would care more about bringing in fruit that grows in the UK. So peaches or apples may be a problem, but tropical fruit might not.. I took citrus in and told customs and they said it was fine. Going to Australia you would have to dispose of the lot. The UKBA have a leaflet called "Bringing fruit vegetable and plant products into the UK". http://customs.hmrc....MCE_PROD_010869 Of course Durian cannot be placed in the hold, it must be taken as hand luggage and consumed on-board.
