I am planning a stay in Bangkok and like the look of the emporium suites. It advertises high speed internet as one of the facilities, and I really wanted to know if anyone could tell me what sort of connetion they have, if it's reliable and what the normal download speed would be.

Yes i have, but I haven't received a reply yet. So considering that TIT and what I have heard about general download speeds for "fast" internet connections here, I am not expecting any answer to be particularly forthcoming or accurate, which is why I want to try and find out from somebody who has used it there.

Yes - have used it at the emporium - yes i found it quick... how quick though i dont know, but it was certainly able to cope with a number of farrangs ftp-ing their holiday snaps.
