He was caught dealing drugs and had his 3 cars and businesses confiscated.

I missed that in the news. Did it ever make any of the local news sites/papers?

Yes, it was on PW.

I would post the link but it's forbidden.

Just search for "Phuket expat drug dealer has cars confiscated. 30th of December

I heard the same. Never saw it in the news either. I have been told by many Thai's that the owner was a shady mafia type.

I agree Sabai Sabai on Thaina Road next to Calypso Divers is the best place around. Takes a while but worth it and affordable.

+1 on Sabai Sabai being good. I just went there the other day and recognized the cook. He was part of the now closed Indian (Dhubai?) that was opposite Mee bar. When it moved to Rawai and became the Tandoori restaurant it went to crap. Now I know why :)

I have to agree; Sabai Sabai have excellent indian food. It takes a while but when the food is on the table, it's just mmmmmmmmm. Too bad the restaurant have so few customers. He is probably to cheap, offering most dishes for 99 baht.

Is that the term these days "curry" :)?

I remember the guy being my waiter when the place first opened. Judging by how slow the service was, I guess he didn't get high on his own supply of "curry".
