lopburi3
Yes it is a 60 day extension of stay to visit family member using the normal TM.7 form at 1,900 baht. Have a 4x6cm photo and copy of marriage certificate as well as the wife. Your are aware you can extend one year at a time with proof of 400k in bank account 2 months or income of 40k per month. Failing that you could obtain a one year multi entry non immigrant O visa from KL with show of 100k in an account anywhere. That would require leaving country every 90 days for a few minutes but much better than every other week. The visa itself would cost about 5k. ManOnTheRoad
Dear Lopburi3 Thank you for your reply and confirmation . Ok Marriage Certificate and our Child Birth Certificate. is this the 2 papers the would like to see ? Do i need to bring the wife Employment letters or something too ? And after the 2 months ends can i extend another 2 month ? Cheers Edited February 13, 2011 by ManOnTheRoad
Mario2008
Marriage certificate and birth certificate of child, copy of wife's ID card and household registration. The extension is only given 1 time in a row. After that you have to leave the country or apply for a 1 year extension of stay. (If you have 400,000 in a bank account in Thailand or an income of 40,000 a month (before tax and can be from abroad). Yes you do need to bring the wife (and child). Proof of work or income is not necessary for a 60 day extension.
