Thailand Visa Application

Featured Replies

I'm going to a family wedding in Australia end of Feb 2011; I'm getting conflicting info of visa from my friends. Firstly as an Thailand passport holder do I need one?

When I came across www [dot] evisaasia [dot] com, it affirmed that visa is required to visit Australia, yet it requires 3 days / 2 weeks for visa application process. Can anyone advise me whether it true please?

Thanks

You need to contact VFS they handle applications for the Australian Embassy in Bangkok, until you get the Visa don't bother with airline tickets.

Moved to visas for other countries

An Embassy issued visa is required for Thais to travel to Australia.....they can not get an E Visa.

This requires you to lodge an application at the VFS office at CC Towers near Surasak BTS.

It takes 6 working days to process.

You will need to show that you have sufficient funds or access to funds for the trip.

A copy of the wedding invite would assist plus a letter of support from the Australian side.

You will also need to show that you have a reason to return to Thailand afterwards.....this could be a job, business etc.
