Not absurd at all. I still use my old 3G Nokia mobile phone which suits me in making phone calls and text messages. None of this app rubbish. I use my personal home computer and Epson printer for all my needs, including TDAC registration form. -

Visa run to Laos, always fine? No problem with TDAC
Nong Khai now requires you to stay in Laos. I don't remember if the reports say 1 or 2 nights, as it varies by border. You will need to stay in Laos for whatever amount of time that border requires. When you return to Thailand, you will receive a 60-day visa exempt stamp if you have no visa. There is no mechanism to receive a stamp less than that unless the government modifies the visa exempt program again. -

I call bull. Too many of these stories around the Casino debate. It's not a coincidence. Thailand is ram packed with tourists, and is on course to have a record breaking year in terms of numbers of visitors - albeit they are cheap, criminals, and horrific low rent tourists.
