Hi, i am thinking of getting away to Krabi within the next week or so and was wondering whether any members might have recent experience or ideas where to stay.

Am probably budgeting for under 1000 baht for hotel per day, although dont mind going over that for a good deal. I usually like to stay in a few different places.

Have looked on agoda and can see many good deals, but having so many to choose from makes it even harder to decide where to stay.

I havent much experience of the place, but i guess a lot of the less expensive resorts may be a little bit out of the way and harder to get to?

Plan to fill the days maybe going diving,kyaking or maybe Phi Phi, so any suggestions on all the above appreciated..

You could try asiareservations.net. It's run by a guy called Rob and he actually lives in Krabi. We have used and recommended him many times. ...maybe have a chat to him. What I like is that the prices he shows are 'all in'.
