Thai Singer Campi?

Featured Replies

Did not no where to ask this so, I thought since I heard and saw this singer on a tv in a bar I would ask here.

I'm looking for any info a singer named Campi (SP) he plays guitar and seems to sing more of a country style. Noboady seems to know who I'm talking about including the wife.

Anybody know of him?

My wife says that Thai people might not understand if you only ask about Campi...you need to ask about Pongsit Campi...then they will understand....he is a musician in a similar style to Ad Carabao(Thai people call this style "life music") but not as famous....his style is usually slower than Carabao....he is very famous and I'm surprised that you haven't connected.

Pongsit Campi, Great I'll try a search. Thanks

Campi is not the most common way to spell his name in Latin letters - Khumphe, Kampee, Kumpee are all more common. The real spelling is in Thai of course - (พงษ์สิทธิ์ คำภีร์)

Tarragona,

Thanks for the link.

Do any of you know if there is a site where I can sample some of his songs?

I want to buy some of his music but don't want to have to buy 10 cd's to find some of the songs I like.

thanks guys...
