Data Center Manager Required!

Job Description

The Data Center Manager is responsible for managing the Windows server platform deployed in our datacentres. The ideal candidate will have significant experience managing Windows systems, specifically in the area of Active Directory, Microsoft Internet Information Server and SQL Server.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the Windows Server team, dealing with 3^rd party vendors and coordinating with remote support staff.

The candidate will maximize the team's effectiveness to deliver on the company objectives while being responsible for daily team activity and acting as escalation point for staff.

The candidate will need to be able to hit the ground running in a fast-moving, technology-oriented and multi-cultural environment,

Key role requirements

· At least 5 years of in-depth experience working with the Windows Server platform.

· Practical experience working with and complex network environments

· Proven management abilities, capable of leading and growing a successful team in a fast paced environment.

· Detail oriented, process driven with a sense of ownership for both the team and service delivered.

· Good English speaking, reading and writing skills.

Desired skills

· Exposure to SAN/NAS systems

· Working with complex web hosting environments

· Knowledge of IBM/HP/Juniper/Cisco/F5 hardware would beneficial.

· Knowledge of ITIL IT management principles & best practices
