I suppose for an Aussie it is the Thai equivalent of somtam :rolleyes:. Force-feed it long enough and indoctrination takes over from the taste buds !

Better say God knows why anyone would want to spend 250 Baht for a 125 gram jar of marmite.

I believe I have seen Marmite/Vegemite/Promite at the Gourmet Market in the basement of Central Beach Mall.

As to why anyone would pay whatever price for a jar of the stuff...because if you want it and live in Pattaya, a few hundred baht is allot cheaper than a flight to Australia.

I think the op means Mr Moo, they joined up with tropical foods and moved to Soi Khataloe and became Cheap Charlies, then they had a falling out and last I heard it had closed down and was up for sale.
