i was going to go to laos as i am in udon now so it would be easier but ive figured the cost and time expenses would be the same if i just went to korat and got a stamp there, the problem is my friend is coming tomorrow wed 4th to marry in bkk and he wants me to be there, so can i get a 15 day or a 30 day stamp in korat ? how much is it ? i go home on 1st april so if korat only give me a 15 day i will go down to cambodia for a further 15 day.

any advice on what to do . i did get some advice about going to thai consulate in laos for free 30 day but as i say ive changed my mind about that as i really want to get down to bkk for my friends weddding as i havent seen him in years .

thanks in advance. ;)

Immigration does not give out 15 or 30 day stamps. The most they would give you for 1900 baht would be a 7 day with proof of onward flight. If your in Udon your best bet is to go to Lao and get double entry tourist visa (2x60/30) they are free tell March 31. If you just want a 15 day stamp if your in Udon just go up to Nong Khai cross the boarder 1500baht come back and receive 15 day actually 14 day stay stamp.

If the person in question has a Tourist Visa --- they may extend it for 30 days in Thailand at Immigration for 1900 baht.
