Someone sent the link to me via facebook. I hardly ever come on the Samui forum:

Anyway, I think it's serious enough to put this on the pet forum (hope the mod's don't mind). If you want to know the dog food brand, please, contact Samui Dog Rescue directly.

BTW, it's not the first time that dogs in Thailand died of liver or kidney failure after eating contaminated dog food that was made in Thailand.

I've just read the thread on the Samui sub-forum, Nienke; it's horrifying! Not only the deaths of the dogs, but the insensitive attitude of the supplier.

I understand that the supplier cannot be named yet for legal reasons, but I hope the name will be made public when possible for the information of all dog-lovers.

I think it is pertinent to give members any information we may have about the brands we use, and the reasons why we use them. I use A-Pro, which is one of the cheaper brands of dry dog-food. My reason is that we used to buy pigfood from them, and had no complaints about it, so we have confidence in their production processes.
