Thai Girlfriend Holiday Visa To Uk - Advice Pls!

Featured Replies

This is the second time my girlfriend will be visiting the UK, so she's got an expired british visa in her passport.. and we want to go again, but at very short notice - basically for the xmas hols (2 weeks).. .

it seems like the embassy need a zillion and one things to issue a visa, but i'm hoping this time, as she's already been issued a visa in the past, it'll go a little smoother.

Any advice/tips?

The second time my Thai girlfriend requested a visa to visit England, she still provided the zillion and one things (as the first time) but she received the visa the same day (applied in the morning, picked the visa up in the afternoon).

is there as many questions to get a visa for a thai wife to visit uk?? :o

Don't know about the UK but for the USA she has to go through the normal procedure and being a wife will probably be viewed as a negative unless you (husband) can provide evidence that you are living here and not intending to shortcut the immigrant visa process. But for those living overseas it can be done but you should expect to have to answer some questions (not near a zillion). :o
