Looking for the Singapore equivalent of Centrepoint apartments in Bangkok.

- reasonably priced, around USD$50-80 per night

- net in room included

- close to MRT if possible.

It's fine if it is a hotel as such. I'm just sick of paying SGD$150-200 for the same old shoebox room and then getting charged another $20 for broadband

Please advise if you know or can recommend anything.

while we're at it - any recommendations for a nice wine bar/pub/eatery, maybe around the Clark Quay area, or around Bugis?? I have Saturday night free WOO HOO!
