I have a problem. My family and I live in Pattaya Thailand and just after Christmas some farang friends of ours had to suddenly pack up and leave Thailand to return to their home country for family reasons and out of compassion for their situation I offerred to take on one of their adopted Thai dog. She is a lovely golden colour, medium size dog with a typical "thai dog" curly tail. She is well mannered and well behaived. She can sit, stay and obeys commands. She just doesnt like storms, but what dog does? She doesnt back much unless a stray dog wanders into the village or a stranger approaches the gate.

Now you may ask, if she is so good what is the problem?

The problem is that we have just found out that our stay in Thailand is not going to be as long as we first thought and we will also be doing alot of travelling for work inbetween. I dont feel that it is fair on 'Lady' that is her name, to leave her for all that time alone. I feel it would be better if we found her another loving caring family who would take her in and give her the home she deserves.

She is also desexed, fully vaccinated and wormed and treated for ticks and fleas. We will provide 6 months worth of food and heartworm medicine, she has a cage that is her bed or we use when we have guests that are uncomfortable with dogs, a harness, a lead, brush, wash, long chain for when I open the gate to move the cars and a couple of toys.

She loves to play tug of war with a rope and ball, and she is a great soccer player, although the ball takes a beating LOL.

If there is anyone out there who is looking to adopt a lovely family dog or knows someone who is please, please let me know as it breaks my heart to think about what may end up happening when it does come time for us to leave. I dont want her to end up on the streets with the other miserable Soi dogs and I wont be able to find a vet to put her to sleep (although I dont think I could go through with it anyway).

I am hoping to have a home arranged for her before our first LONG trip in April 2011! Short notice I know but I only found out this mornig myself.
