Black Eggs?

Featured Replies

Two weeks ago, I bought four eggs in a 7eleven shop. The outside was pink and I was very happy to have a proper egg. BUT, in the inside the eggs were black (and I mean as black as the night) and they smelled very much. Please tell me whats the matter?

Those pink eggs are weird, had them at a wedding and the white was like jelly. Tried it once, don't think I'll bother again.

I personally like the salty eggs (khai khem), they are layered in a salty mud, once they are ready you wash off the mud and boil them or fry them. Chaiya in Surat Thani is famous for their salty eggs. They are great with curry.
