Any country that needs another country to design and build a nuclear power plant is not technically advanced enough to have one.

Using your twisted logic, then the US shouldn't have nuclear power plants either...:whistling:

Enrico Fermi....Italian.

Albert Einstein...German

Leó Szilárd...Hungerian

Niels Bohr...Danish

We (Brits) should have stuck to gas-cooled reactors, instead of buying imported technology; and kept the water reactors underwater where they belong...

The Thais should be forced to cobble together their own reactor, ignoring the lessons learnt from 60 years of international experience, and find out the hard way; they could start off with air-cooled graphite moderated reactors like Windscale, before moving on to graphite moderated water cooled reactors like the RBMK, and then graduate to LWRs...

A 'SW wind' means it's coming from the SW - going north-east.

I think Welsh lambs are safe for the time being! :)

Have to agree with you there. Didn't seem so twisted at the time though

The coordinator of the Thai People Don't Want Nuclear Power Plants Network, Sodsai Sangsok, told a

news conference yesterday that the Japanese lesson indicated Thailand should not have nuclear plants.

She said studies had been made of possible sites for nuclear power stations in Prachuap Khiri Khan,

Chumphon, Surat Thani, Trat, Nakhon Sawan, Ubon Ratchathani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Kalasin and

Khon Kaen provinces. The Energy Ministry initially eyed Ubon Ratchathani.
