I am with SCB, ok for simplest transactions. DO you have a banker, who speaks reasonable English and understand, e.g buying/selling of stocks?

in my 20+years in Thailand, if you are talking about bank 'branch' staff - the answer is No. Maybe at the banks head office. But there a Brokerages owned by the banks and independent who do this work. Thai banks staff generally not.

Why would you want to deal with a Thai bank for share dealing ?

Any recommendation who to buy Thai stocks through? Commonwealth Bank of Australia would charge me ~3000 baht per transaction, surely a Thai bank would be more competitive than that.

Well offshore is an option, but who. HSBC seems bloody expensive . Loyds Bank , Isle of Man is very reasonable.
