March 12, 201115 yr Asian Tour Pro Matthew Rosenfeld will be arriving in Bangkok on the 10th April-17th April after playing in India. He is looking for anyone who may be able to put him up for the week as well as the chance to practice and play with him whilst he is here.(pref decent players)as he needs serious practice time. He will then fly to Jakarta for the Malaysian Open. Possibility of being back after that comp if the Asian Tour do not put back the Philippines Open event. Who said life is easy for a Tour Pro. If anyone can help contact Harry on 0860460501
March 12, 201115 yr What a strange request... A golf professional cannot afford to pay for a weeks accommodation in Bangkok ? ? ? Even I can afford to stay in Bangkok for a week . . . Edited March 12, 201115 yr by Checker
March 12, 201115 yr Author I think you are missing the big picture here. Even on the Asian Tour it costs these guys in the region of $40,000 to play on tour all season and without a sponsor it can quickly put these Asian Tour Pros under. He is In India for 2 weeks and rather than fly back to America he wants to stop over in Bangkok and then fly to Indonesia and then maybe back and the the Philippines. I think you can do the sums yourself it is not easy if you want then sponsor him then he can stay in the Hotels. In fact a sponsor would be a better deal all round. Not a bad deal play a practice round with him for giving some diggs good deal i would say. Get in touch if you are of a generous disposition. What a strange request... March 12, 201115 yr Author Yes and why would he fly to Jakarta to take part in the Malaysian Open? My mistake sorry and thank you for pointing that out Indonesian Masters in Jakarta in April. Maybank Malaysian only if a win in India. Harry
March 12, 201115 yr You could contact Doug, at Bourbon Street on Washington Square..? I don't have his number with me, but he is a keen golfer, and he has fairly cheap accomodation above the restaurant. He might at least have an idea where he can go to get some regular practice in..? There is a driving range pretty close by too. Just an idea. I would be happy to help, but I live in Phuket, and I'm away at the moment anyway. Good luck to him in both touraments..!

Paul many thanks for your suggestion i think we may have a solution at hand. I know about the driving range at Soi 42 and im sure a couple of sessions there will be on the cards. You cant beat using real golf balls and practicing with proper facilities hence wanting to get on a golf course. The request will be pie in the sky if he gets some good results in India i am sure after working with him and watching him at qualifying school in Hua Hin a big finish is on the cards this season. Can any of you golfers out there recommend a course in or around Bangkok with good practice facilities. Driving range hitting of grass not mats-putting and pitching area any help appreciated. Harry
